We are well known for our ability to understand social change, and for applying this knowledge to help clients' strategic planning, with a particular focus on public service transformation and innovation. We have a significant public sector practice and are familiar with the policy challenges facing government, having worked extensively across central and local government as well as the third sector. We have developed future-facing proprietary tools and frameworks across a range of strategy and insight areas including behaviour change, customer journeys, segmentation, and scenarios.
Where is government heading over the long term?
We recently hosted a briefing with Oxford Economics on the future role of government in public service delivery and regional development. The event was centred around a set of scenarios we developed to examine the relationship between levels of public engagement, political change and global competition.
How big is society?
We recently hosted our annual IIPS What the Citizen Wants event in London, presenting our latest research findings on the values, attitudes and aspirations of the British public. Against a context of significant social and political change, we dug deep to ask how citizens are responding to the call to action represented by the 'Big Society'.
